Erling Haaland

Officially a City player.

Does he count as ‘Home Grown’ as he was born in Leeds?

Both Haaland and Núñez look to be quality signings.
Can’t wait to see both in the Prem next season.
I think Haaland will be top goal scorer.

If Haaland stays fit, he might smash PL records.

Injury is likely the only thing that could hold him back. I doubt the Bundesliga is as physically demanding as the PL, so will be interesting how he holds up.

I think the likes of Foden and Grealish will go up a level having a proper striker to work off too. Quite scary really for the rest of us trying to catch up. Wouldn't wish injuries on him but hopefully he takes time to adjust to the league, I'm not hopeful though.

I think he could break the PL scoring record in his second season for you actually.

Yeah, he genuinely occupies defenders. He is a Beast

How do you think he’d fit in at Arsenal?

"You have to have trained at a British club for three years before your 21st birthday to class as homegrown."

Funny, I was born in BMH Rinteln, Germany, brought up in England, came back here with the British Military when I was 23, getting out off the Army married to a German lass I decided to stay here, to do that I had to have a pass!..

I took my Grandfather's Nationality because the British authorities said I didn't qualify for a British passport!..

So living in England from the age off baby and coming here with the Army, if I'd known I didn't qualify for a British pass before joining the Army I don't think I would have joined!..

If a footballer only has to be there for 3yrs to be classed as homegrown, then it shows what a load off bollox the British system is!..

a homegrown english football player is a status that only exits within football, its not British citizenship. thats a different thing altogether.

and your story about not qualifying for british passport cant be correct... if you have been a resident in UK for over (4 years i think) then you can qualify for British passport so you would have qualified,
And its not just 3 years completion to become a homegorwn player, its 3 years betwen the ages of 15-21. The homegrown rule only applied to football outwith that it has little to no meaning

Odd, because its my Regiment that applied through their channels for me a pass and the reply said I wasn't a British subject!..

That comes down to my Father being Irish and not registering me as British when born!..

My younger brother lives in England and was born in the same hospital as me, he is 50+ and isn't British!..

I think you'll find there are lots off people that think they're Brits like I did because off their Perants and the Military!..
