I prefer to look at it as we need to make a sub, Conte turns to look at the bench and sees:

Richarlison
Lucas
PEH
Davies
Reggie
Sess
Skipp
Spence/Doch
Dier/New CB
Forster

I think they are some good options for him and he will feel backed

Not enough attacking game changes there imo. Something like an eriksen added to the above would be good.

Not sure what holjberg has done to warrant being demoted to our B team, other than be one of our consistently better players for the last 18 months!

How many successful games has bissouma played for Spurs? Cos I can name a lot that PEH had played!

I’d arguably start PEH over bentancur.

Great to have depth and choice, but don’t think he’s suddenly third choice.

I can see Sess or Reguillon starting and Perisic being a game changing sub.

Richarlson is something different. If Son is having an off day, or we go more attacking, he can make something happen, even if its just a penalty 🤿

although pricey i think richarlison will probably do well. shades of the Jota transfer to liverpool. versatile to play in a few different positions, and genuine option off bench or when main 3 need a rest.
