Are Spurs now a bigger attraction

for players than Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal?

I would definitely say so, they can now offer CL football, get to play for one of the top managers in world football, in one of the world's best stadiums.

Obviously Man United are still one of the world's biggest clubs, so will always be able to attract players, but right now they seem to be standing still at best.

Chelsea without their Sugar Daddy will come back to the real world, and I can see them dropping right back into the pack without the financial advantage they have had for the best part of 20 years. With their small stadium, they don't look that big of an attraction right now.

And then you have Arsenal. Spend a lot, but are miles of challenging. They don't even have a proper striker. And they just look a pretty weak outfit.

Everything now looks in place for Spurs to cement a top four place again for a good few years now, with the purse strings finally opening up.

Errr, quite obviously no.

Arsenal and United are the two biggest teams in soccer.

In Arsenal’s case, we dominate in all sports (NFL, NHL, NLL etc.).

Just having a new stadium and signing a MF from Brighton doesn’t put you on our level, I’m sorry to say.

Well seeing as your owners have just destroyed the wages ceiling at Anfield by giving into Salah’s demands for £400k per week or nigh on £20million a year😵‍💫🤯
I don’t think would want to compete on that level, it is going to create major issues at Liverpool when it’s time to negotiate new contracts, I would think that Van Dijk will be looking to gain parity as he is only on around £225k per week🤔

400K a week is madness for a player on the decline like Salahdive

Spurs don’t win trophies, no major trophies this millennium

Sorry I don’t see the attraction.

4th place again for your lot at best with no silverware.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Shame you guys don't win much either because of Pep and Real Madrid

Always a bridesmaid

We have Conte now, you lost one of your best forward player, and spent £100m on an unproven player. A lot of things could go wrong for you guys
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don’t win much, if spurs ever won 2 trophies in a season we’d never hear the fackin end of it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You mean the way we are not hearing the end of bin dippers still crowing on a season they won something and which was marred by the pandemic?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
another excuse you won Fack all
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How old are you? 12?

We have won many trophies but they are older than 12 so of course, I get it why you don't know about them

----------------------------------------------------------------------
"4th at best" errrrr...that's exactly what Sandy said in this post. You actually just agreed with him numbnuts.

Yeh ridiculous, he is 30 now, and showed signs of decline second half of the season. Liverpool have properly been mugged of by Salah.

It does make me laugh when folk use Spurs lack of trophies to give the impression that we aren't an attractive proposition for top players.

Richarlison, Perisic, Bissouma and anybody else we sign will only care about playing in the best stadium in Europe in the cl with a cracking manager for a shed load of money. They won't give a gnat's chuff who won the FA Cuo in 2016, its all about the package offered in the here and now.

I know the banter is all about putting your opponents down but any football follower who can't see that Spurs are in a very good place right now needs to give their head a wobble.

Absolutely spot on comment. Newcastle have not won a bean for nearly 70 years, save one Fair Cup in the 1960s, but they have suddenly become a very attractive club to join.

Players don`t worry about what trophies a club has or has not won, the number one thing is whether a club is in a good place or not, and how much they are going to get paid.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed. Spot on. Fact is Spurs, at this time, are in the CL, do have the best stadium in Europe ( and best training ground ) and have one of the top 3/4 managers in the business.
The "noise" from others, especially Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea, now corporate owned who must now balance the books not blindly spend and spend" are all less attractive.

Yes Spurs have not won a cup since 2008, but Arsenal haven't been in the CL since 2016, Utd haven't won anything for 5 years, poor for the so called biggest team in the world, and Chelsea are now in with the financial also ran's, and like us and everyone else in the PL , will continue to watch City scoop everything up for the foreseeable future.

So by my reckoning, we can tell Arsenal and Utd that "they never win anything" in around 3 years time too.As for Chelsea they bought every trophy in the last 20 years which doesn't count, so they are already in that bracket anyway.

Just makes you wonder what childish comments this lot will come out with when we do win a trophy. I mean that just leaves them calling us Spurs but deliberately misspelling as spurts, like that is ever going to bother Spurs fans.
