Spurs won every pre season game under Ramos 12/13 years ago, including pounding Roma 5-0 in our final friendly.
We then went on to have our worst start to a season ever, taking 2 points from 8 games - Ramos got sacked and Harry and Rosy came in

this sort of sensible comment clearly has no place here.
I would "write" an artilce but they are all just full of the same wums. JA606 is one of the most boring sites as it really is just the same few wums doing the same things on the same sort of articles
for the record:
Liverpool:
Borussia Dortmund (N) friendly 2 - 3
Sevilla (N) friendly 1 - 2
Sporting CP (N) friendly2 - 2
Napoli (N) friendly 0 - 3
Lfc preseason results 2019/20
what happened in the season?
preseason is about the training, Ten hag clearly felt he needed a good start and maybe didn't train during the day and just played a side for quite a long time. It went swimmingly for him.
LFC played 3 side in the game and man utd beat a 9 of first team LFC 0-1 in the final 30 mins. congrats man utd. I'm not even sure if we trained in the morning or not as we have been known to.
This was a big money game with very expensive tickets so whoever organised it for this date with no chance to be any sort of serious thing wants their marketing head examined.
That's separate to the preseason thing as both clubs will not move on with preparing for the season.

Spot. Remember it well.
Trouble is you are not going to get a Utd fan to see this meaningless friendly as anything other than the usual cliche's:
1. We now have the best manager around.
2. We have suddenly turned a corner and have a great team again. Even Fred is now world class ( did have to laugh at that one )
3. We are better than Liverpool, irrespective of what players were on the pitch, that it was a friendly designed to get players fitness up, oh and earn money for the club.
4. They now, of course, are obviously "challenging" for the title on that back of this game.
The sensible thing to do is let this circus pass us by, accept we just cannot get away from the constant media hype around both these clubs ( at the total expense of every other PL team ) and just follow our own Spurs team, who are quietly getting on with it, under the radar as usual.

Said no United fan ever. Just your own made up fantasy land.
BBC's Simon Stone has done a Q & A on yesterdays game by the way:

I think in fairness to every man utd fan who lives in hope they are "not that bad", just like in our darkest days we were never "that bad" either.
8th is a distinct possibility for Pride of the norths so that'll be good.

It doesn't matter whether they challenge or not, Spurs have already won it with a bit to spare
