The latest I’m hearing on Jack is that we’ll let accept £35m for him from Newcastle. I know it’s all clickbait but no smoke without fire, and all that. I’m worried that if Jack goes we’re ripping too much out of the heart of our team after losing Phillips and Raph (whose moves I don’t begrudge, by the way). Bearing in mind that other long-time faithfuls such as Ayling, Klich and possibly even Bamford might struggle to get regular game time from now on, are we happy about that? I know it’s the end of an era, especially post-Bielsa, and I appreciate things can’t stay the same forever, but selling most of our talismanic, not to mention prolific, players is a risky business. In the case of Jack, maybe he wants out, but I’d find that hard to believe. No player sums up the heart, soul and spirit of this team more than he does or is more well loved by us fans, but sentimentality aside, he’s simply too good to let go. I know Jesse may want to bring in players that fit his system and who he’s worked with, but replacing most of our proven talent with players who’ve never performed at Prem level is not just playing with fire - in the case of Jack, it’s a step too far.

Jack's been brilliant for us. He's been (almost) as key as Raph in keeping us up. If he wants to move on too,
who can blame him? And at 35 mill hell yes.

35m seems a very high fee considering he got 1 assist last season, as good as he can be at times he lacks pace to be considered a top winger and at 35m I would want bags of it. Just my opinion like

He got hooked at HT several times last season. He's ridiculously inconsistent. On his day he is a 35 mil player, just has lots of 11 mil days with his daisy cutter crosses

Funny how Harrison was one off our best players last season!..
Can someone tell me how many would beaters we had in our squad last season, because if there were any they weren't on show!..
And before anyone says Phillips, he didn't do much,(mainly down to injury!)and Raphinha, even he had his off days but did show what he can do!..
Feck, if Raphinha missed that penalty and we'd gone down we'd have get a Harrison price for him!..
Like has been said, a player is worth what the buying club is willing to pay, and we should be pushing for the highest possible price, something that this window our club has let slip more than enough!..
