So tonight sees the start of the European season for Scottish Teams with Motherwell in action against Sligo Rovers
It's absolutely imperative that ALL club's do their utmost to try and boost the coefficient and keep us as near to the top table in Europe as possible
The old firm get plenty pelters when they make an erse of it in Europe, but it's about time the rest of the club's in this league started making in roads in Europe....don't care what anyone says, they can do better than they have been doing
Wasn't that long ago that Killie were papped out of Europe by a bloody Welsh team that lost to Ross County in the challenge cup final the season prior
St Johnstone gave Galatasaray a bit of a scare last term, fair play to them
This season, Hearts are guaranteed Conference League group stage at worst so they have a real opportunity to make a mark in Europe this season and should grasp it with both hands
Dundee Utd look like they will have a tough draw against Alkmaar, so it's unlikely they will progress which is a shame, would be fantastic if they got past that tie
But if Motherwell can't beat Sligo Rovers.... something's wrong, and they deserve proper pelters if they go out at that stage, these are the kind of results that we can't afford

So Motherwell lost 3-0 on aggregate to a mid-table Irish team.
Probably time to chuck Motherwell out of the league. Possibly out of Scotland entirely. Northern Ireland can have them.

Arguably worse. At least Killie should have won their game based on performance. Motherwell thoroughly deserved this.
