has finally ended. Unbeievable that it is being hailed as equal to England`s 1966 World Cup win. What a total nonsense.
The hype over England winning a Tournament that nobody outside of England or Germany cared a fig about, is just typical of 21st Century Britain. Everything is completely hyped to hysterical heights.
Pretty certain that 90 per cent of those at Wembley will never attend another football match in their lives, men`s or women`s. And when the kids have a choice of going to watch a women`s match when the season starts or go to Disney World, there will only be one winner.
Now you may say these are the ramblings of a grumpy old man, but come on does anyone take women`s football seriously? Every Under 17`s boys side would comfortably beat England women probably about 6-0.
Laughably the women now want the some pay as the men. Are they seriously going to be paying women £300 grand a week on gates that are about on par with your normal Sunday League crowds at Hackney Marshes?
So let`s stop with the comparison`s and the hype. And those celebrations were about as cringy as it gets.

I dont really care if it grows or not.... its good for the females if it grows more as I do feel there is still a stigma attached to girls playing or enjoying sports it seems.
