Who is getting relegated?

New season starts on Friday, with Crystal Palace hosting the mighty Arsenal.

The three promoted clubs, Fulham, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest, will be the favourites to go down. However, as Burnley found out, sometimes a more established side can fall through the trap door.

Everton spent most of last season looking in real trouble. Their response so far is to buy two players who did get relegated - James Tarkowski and Dwight McNeil. They have also lost Richarlison, although he could be as much a hinderance as help to them last year.'
They have kept Dominic Calvert-Lewin so far, but he will need to stay fit. There is not a lot to suggest this season will be any easier for them.

Southampton have managed to keep out of any real trouble on recent years, but 9 defeats, 2 draws and 1 win in their last 13 games is form they cannot afford to bring into the new season. They haven't really done a lot of note in the transfer window, so it is a question of whether it is a stable or stale squad. Could be a real struggle for them this year.

Leicester City are a club who suddenly look in a poor state. Kasper Schmeichels shock decision to leave, with Wesley Fofana, James Maddison and Youri Tielemans all heavily linked with moves away, leaves a rather unstable squad. Jamie Vardy is now 35 and had a fair amount of injuries with Patson Daka and Kelechi Iheanacho not filling the gap. They do have young talent like Barnes and Dewsbury-Hall, but if they suffer similar number of injuries as last season they could very much do an Everton.

Leeds United struggled without Kalvin Phillips last season, so his departure has left a big gap. Tyler Adams and Marc Roca could be good business to offset that. They will need Patrick Bamford fit and scoring, while Luis Sinisterra has to replace Raphinha adequately.
If they don't massively improve their defensive performances then they will be a good shout for relegation.

A decent 13th placed finish for Brentford, but they wouldn't be the first club to suffer second season blues. Ivan Toney netted a respectable 13 goals last season, and they had a good defensive record. Losing Eriksen will be a disappointment.

Crystal Palace have the exciting attacking talent of Zaha, Eze and Olise, but have been unable to find a goalscoring striker. No-one drew more games than them last season, with their defence comfortably being the best in the bottom half. Should be alright this season, but as seen with Burnley, it is easy to be dragged into the fight.

If any of the promoted clubs do survive, who do you think will be going down?

Leeds or Everton could be candidates. Forest taken a bit of a gamble to try and stay up and is a gamble that could end badly if £200k a week for lingaard is to be believed.

Didn't Lingard only sign for a year?

He may of done but felt they've spent a fair bit on ordinary.

Can someone offer/show me the odds for West Ham to finish above Tottenham Jokespur...

Of the promoted teams Forest have the best manager imo. I also like their signings.

Very rare all three promoted teams go down too so I'm going Bournemouth, Fulham and Leeds.

Hey, woah, holy smokes. The Forest bet was an outsider ffs haha.

I see nobody has hit me with the United bet.

Few running scared I imagine.

palace have improved no? not lost anyone added 2 fairly expensive signings? And Vieira seems decent. Theyll be above the Relegation pack of the 3 new teams though i agree not all 3 will go back down, Everton Leeds Southampton could be in trouble.
