Offence at swearing always perplexes me. Swear words aren't actually stated in the Bible or any religious texts, are they? So it must be the context, rather than the word itself that's offensive. In which case, saying "oh sugar" is just as bad as saying "oh shiiiit." As you're conveying the same negative emotion. I think
