Managerial merry go round

Two championship managers have left there clubs today.

Davies was expected after his rocky relationship with the Forest board, "Big Eck" a little more surprising, thought he may stay on, get them back in the Premier league.

Would any of them gone after Hill if the jobs were vacant at the same time as us?

Clubs like that tend to go after managers who have proven pedigree in this division.

There's a job on the loose....

Some high profile names in the championship this season, Sam Allardyce, Steve McClaren, Sven. Big names will be appointed at Forest and Cardiff.

Keith Hill will be chopping at the bit to come head to head with such managers.

Can't wait for the season to start!

Don't think Cardiff can afford a "big name" manager...they gambled a fortune and failed last season...Chopra, already sold...Bellamy won't be back.

There's usually a shock amongst the relegated teams...might have a couple of bob on Cardiff being involved.

I agree Sparty, they may pay the price of failing to reach the Premier League. Have gambled away a fortune.

Cotterill linked to Birmingham, jumped ship at Notts County as soon as Portsmouth made a move for him. Hopefully this may calm rumours of Pompey chasing Shackell?
