Pre-season, a chance to travel, see your team in different surroundings full of hope for the new season, check out young squad players who rarely get game time and, er, new signings....
Wolves and Celtic travel to Dublin instead of Seoul for a match up, three weeks and two weeks respectively ahead of their league starts. The Scottish champions welcome back Brendan Rodgers for his second spell in charge, six of his 34 league points coming from matches against Wolves last season.
Wolves have been clearing the decks this summer, but the starting 11 certainly won't be unrecognisable as the only incoming signings have been Blackpool goalkeeper Tom King and returning free agent Matt Doherty.
Results in these games are of course irrelevant and unimportant, but that won't prevent meltdown among the fan base if Wolves lose given the uncertainty surrounding the clubs finances and the associated concerns of the head coach. Should be interesting!

Bueno is a far far better left back than Ait Nouri ever has been or ever will be

but yet Ait-Nouri(87%)can tackle while Bueno can't(68%). Not a good start for a defender.

I also look forward to the Salah in Bueno's pocket game, though granted, Ait-Nouri kept prime time Salah quiet, not bad for a terrible LB.

Borussia have signed Wober so maybe frees up Elvedi now?

Wish I had a pound for every time people quote that Liverpool game when trying to defend RAN. Ait Nouri was excellent that night. Unfortunately there were many games when he wasn’t. I disagree with you though, he isn’t a terrible full back, but we have better.
Bueno is far more consistent. Sakho came to Molineux this season as one of the league’s outstanding players but never got a kick against Bueno. Just as outstanding that game as RAN was against Salah

I think Scott and Elvedi are signings lined up to be completed. IF Wolves are willing/able to spend the cash

I think the reason Ait Nouri didn't play more last season was due to the issues he was having. It's a shame he didn't settle but if there's stuff going on at home and things aren't going well on the field, it is going to be tough.
A fully fit and in form Ait Nouri would be my first choice ahead of Bueno or Toti. And I'll always adore him for that late winner at Everton 😄

Luke Cundle and Chem Campbell are set to be loaned out again this season and there’s plenty of interest in both.
Sarkic whose transfer to Stoke fell through recently is still likely to be sold with Birmingham and Millwall both interested.
Plenty of interest too in taking young striker Nathan Fraser on loan. He has evidently made a big impression in pre season and if we don’t sign a striker he might remain at the club as back up.

Interesting to watch the first of a series of 3 videos about Sasa on the wolves website. This first one about his injury. Bruno blames himself because Sasa had only had one training session with us before the game and may not have been fully ready to play
