Looking forward to a United win, as ever... but still, no shame in losing to the World Club Champions, as long as Ten Hag's United show as much passion and fight during the game as I'm sure Pep and City will to win the 3 points to keep the pressure on Arsenal and Liverpool and also claim the bragging rights for the supporters in Manchester, until the next time. That is all we are asking of Ten Hag and the lads tomorrow. Just don't capitulate under the enormity of the fixture and embarrass the club (again) and conceed yet another cricket score. If they can avoid that, give City a game and who knows, get something out of this game, Erik might make it to the end of the season still as manager. Let's hope they can and will.
We are reading a lot all over the UK media about a recent 'secret' meeting between Dan Ashworth and Graham Potter (somebody Sir Jim has courted for a while now). I can really only think of one reason why this could be true. If indeed it is. And of course, he is available... right now. But let's put those rumours aside for now and see what happens at The CoMS on Sunday.
Come On You Reds.
The derby

Luckily I have a ceiling that needs a coat of emulsion, will do that while the game is on and save my eyes the horror, just have the radio on while mumbling FFS into my paint tray.

One thing I rate ETH for, introducing youth.

Terrible results today. Could’ve been a different story but late goals have not been kind to us. The dips getting away with it a bit too.
Even worse results given I can’t see us getting anything other than a pasting tomorrow. Sigh
Just like the F1, can’t wait for next season to go through the disappointment all over again!

I’m of the same vintage but don’t remember potter mints ,never hurry a Murray uncle joes and victory v’s yes, black jacks, fruit salads and a certain bubble gum which would definitely not be on sale today
____
was the bubble gum Bazooka Joe. Came in a long pink stick with a comic strip wrapped around it. You could hear the sugar crystals crunching as you chewed it.

I think you're right. I loved Victory VS much to mums surprise.

No. The bubble gum was black, turned your teeth and tounge black and was called something you couldn’t say today, which sounds weird how it was accepted in the 60’s

I used to go into the game at Etihad feeling we always had a chance under Ole. Managed to win there 3 times under him (2 in league and once in cup semi)
++++
ahhh. The good old days.

Pining for ole
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, one thing is for sure, under Ole United had more of a plan on the pitch than we currently do under ETH.

I'm just hoping it's not a high scoring loss.
