Sunday's game

The game will surely be one of the strangest atmospheres ever to be seen at Old Trafford. This will be compounded even more if City somehow drop points at Fulham.

Will be a strange mix of anger, frustration, tragic comedy and a resignation of what is to come... Of course, a lot of fans will still want to support the team, especially with the young lads out there.

I can't think of a game like it, in recent years... Losing helps Arsenal out and minimises our chances of the dreaded conference cup... But surely there wont actually be any "ironic" support for Arsenal (maybe even outright support?)

What I will do is go into it pretending I want us to lose. But then celebrate if we win. Just to cover all bases so I can celebrate all results so I don't have to deal with any negative emotions. I will then build up all of these negative emotions internally and then eventually have a mental breakdown and run down the street naked shouting at members of the public to beat me like teams beat United. I want to feel the pain now. Beat me with sticks. Pleeeease. I just want to feel again.

after yesterday winning our next game, no matter who its against, or any consequences that could come from it elsewhere, doesnt come into it.

We have to win it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We haven't got a chance. Arsenal are a quality team and bang in form and we don't have a defence, midfield or attack.

It's going to be 4 or 5 if they don't take their foot off the gas. There's absolutely no chance we can beat them. The team, or what's left of it, has given up.

We haven’t got a chance on the weekend, hopefully there’s at least some desire shown.

What was worrying about last night was although I fully understand we have a ridiculous number of injuries, only 2 of the starters were in the first team squad before EtH joined. While we continually talk about getting out the cr-p in the squad (which there is a lot of) it’s worrying that a starting XI pretty much entirely assembled by the manager can look so disinterested.

And people are starting to wake up.

It wasn't likes of Bruno Maguire Mctominay Rashford last night was it? The so called 'bad eggs' and the people who get managers sacked.

The players he's brought into the club have been an absolute embarrassment mostly.

Sack him today. He doesn't deserve to wear the suit and walk out at Wembley again. Get an interim for a small boost going into the final. We are going to lose that game anyway.

But most have been aware of this and while the manager has been poor so too is the structure of the club that allows us to buy players the way we do.

He does deserve to manage the final as he got us there. I have no issue with sacking him (and haven’t for a while) but I’m not sure if we will when the club are still setting up things in the background.

My point is that the issues at the club run very deep and won’t change with a simple manager change and replacing a load of players. These are things that need to be done but more importantly changes above need to be made otherwise the culture at the club won’t change. While Ineos at least seem to be trying to fix this I will always be skeptics with the glazers at the club, they are and always have been the number 1 issue with the club.

I’m honestly numb to city winning trophies, I couldn’t care less.

I enjoy watching this arsenal team, but cannot stand Arteta.

All in all, I don’t really mind who wins the title and I’ll hope we win.

Me too, I honestly don't care when City win.

Nobody does because we all know it’s completely hollow.

Like I said on the match thread. They will avenge the 8-2 defeat.

Even with a fully fit defence, the way they play would make it challenging to keep a clean sheet. With the injuries and shocking tactics, I do not expect anything from the game.
