Could this years transfer windown finally be a sign the new ownership model have learnt from past mistakes and are going about some sensible transfer dealings. Its sounds like we're moving for a small number of select targets this summer rather than the scatter gun approach.
We've already signed Adarabioyo which I think is a great bit of business, zero fee, premier league proven, good age and experience. A player profile we were missing, he knows the manager, already lives in the area and adds some much needed height and ability from set pieces to the back line.
Olise, similar to Tosin he's premier league proven, lives in the area, good price and his goals and assists are something we desperately need to add to the team. Release clause so no crazy transfer fees or bidding wars, sounds like he's keen to come home, I'd love to get this done nice and early if possible. Madueke did well towards to end of the season but for me olise os that class above, if we could include him in the deal or see on for a decent money to balance the books I think its a great bit of business.
The argument falls down slightly when it comes to 40 million for Duran but if we can reduce the fee to something amore sensible, he's obviously got abit fo something in terms of knowing where the net is, but I'd not be unhappy of that one didn't come off

I’m note sure. The Fulham CB is a squad filler. Most likely a Chalobah replacement. We’d have zero interest in him if he wasn’t free.
Still need to bring in a Silva replacement
Gallagher’s replacement
A striker that isn’t Duran (another massive risk)
Olise is a solid player but what happens to the two new guys that play in that position that join us next season? Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez.
