It's probably because they cannot profit from it's operation.

England were voicing a lot of criticism of hot spot during this summer, so all the blame cannot be put on the BCCI. Add to that the concern over hawkeye in SL and the whole DRS system is under a cloud.

Philip hughes case plus a lot of Hotspot failure in recently concluded australia-srilanka series might have helped to implement this decision.

This should help Tendulkar make another century. He needs four lives these days the ageing old sod. He will be happy with this I love the use of technology and hope to see it used as much as possible.
