Think you’re completely ignoring the context here. It’s not a celebratory parade, it’s so that the fans of the place they’re visiting will get to see the team, as they won’t all have tickets.

Struggling to sell seats apparently.

BBC saying "official attendance of 72,550 at the Bukit Jalil Stadium" how is that struggling?

You have to remember that Binky's brain turns to mushy peas as soon as he sees the word "United".

You're thinking of every City home game, and when they drape a banner over a large area of unsold seats at Wembley

It's just so the locals can catch a glimpse of the players, not a parade as such. I expect it'll be part of the contractual agreement for the game, which will have been arranged months in advance. Maybe even a year in advance.
This article is about as pointless as the game itself, money aside. Still can't believe we travelled all that way so soon after the season ended to play a game in 30c temperatures and 75% humidity. No wonder the first teamers that played couldn't be bothered. What a farce.

Amad stuck his middle finger up at a bunch of people
posted on 29/5/25
Manchester United winger Amad responded to supporters in Malaysia with an obscene gesture after being subject to "serious personal abuse", the club say.
The Ivory Coast international was pictured putting his middle finger up to people outside the team's hotel in Kuala Lumpur on United's post-season tour.

Maybe they were devasated when they realised they missed the parade.

Did the locals pay for the United players scooter ?
