Simple answer to the op.
As we dont know own the actual fee for isak yet and we dont know own how Gyokeres will adapt we cant know own for sure but all things being equal its obvious thst tje cheaper player is better value if both get 25 goals a season

Op...if isak get Liverpool the league AND CL....then the debate is pointless, ie..its not so much about goals scored as trophies won, specifically the goals he will score to help won trophies...thats priceless!

If Pool get Isak the PL is done and dusted imo.
Atm Isak is the better option simply because he's played in the PL and has done exceptionally well.
Gyorkeres has an amazing scoring record but atm is not PL proven.
No-one knows if a PL will adapt to the PL no matter how good they may seem.

+ It will be interesting to see Isak playing 2-3 games per week at a high intensity compared to the usual 1 game per week he would play at Newcastle.

It would be interesting see Isak play 2-3 games a season at this rate. Gotta be one of the biggest flops in PL history considering his price tag. Even a completely terrible Gyökeres has proven infinitely better value for money.

Availability is also a key factor - doesn't matter how good you are, if you are sat in the physio room you are useless.
According to Transfermarkt, Isak has missed 9,12, 18, 5 and 15 games in the last 5 seasons. Gyokeres has missed 3 club games in his entire career due to injury regularly playing 50+ club games a season showing great robustness. Isak has never got close to that number, worrying for a team wanting to get the PL and the CL.
