Shame becuase a motivated rodgers backed by a competent board would be on for a treble with how things are in scotland right now.

He does need to abandon his love in for the guys that have failed him.

How many more bad games does hatate and macgregor need to have before they are dropped?

Aye, he certainly did. Much more like his old self. Still think he'd be better pushed further forward in central midfield, with an ACTUAL defensive midfielder playing his deeper position ... but I'm like a broken record on that.

You're 100% right mate, he needs a CDM to keep the door closed, Cal tries to do it all, and that rarely works.

Anybody think Engels could play that role, until we actually sign a proper defensive mid? Just think CalMac's talents are wasted there ... plus he couldn't tackle a fish supper, or win a header if his life depended on it. Possibly not, but in the absence of really finding a position for Engels yet, might be worth a try?

Anyway, there are games tonight

There's a lot on the line at Easter Road as Hibernian aim to go a full 12 months without a home defeat in the league

If we beat Hibs away that would be massive for the mindset of these players now under Rohl. You can instantly see the body language of the players during training and the game at the weekend as being far more positive than before. we need to keep up good form to reafirm this. back to back wins and an away win could help us turn a corner this season. You can tell the fans really want to like Rohl so he has that over Martin who from day 1 was trying to change the minds of gers fans.

If we win the next two games the vibes around the club fans and players would change massively IMO and could really be the start of a run.

Agree, Rohl already has the fans backing for 1) Not being RM and 2) Instructed our players to pass the ball forward! Inspirational thinking

*even more so for a lot of fans if Celtic's woes continue for sometime, and I for one hope they do.

That said, they could win the next two games and we draw and lose just as easily

Recent events with celtic could without doubt help our players under Rohl. if Celtic were in Hearts position then the morale of the fans wouldnt change much, but the fact there is real problems and unrest there it can be enouragement for our players to use and see all this positivity, may not be in vain
