1) India government blocked broadcasters early on. Poor organisation.
2) Sky not allowed to have their own commentators because they wanted to show hawk-eye replays.
3) Dead flat wicket, which suits flat track bullies only. Not really a 50/50 split giving the quicks something to munch at.
4) Bulid as the “payback series" – the ground was half empty. Again, no sachin = no interest from some Indian fans.
5) Toss had an influence on the game. Big score = pressure = win in most cases.
6) But most shockingly of all, the Raina decision turned the game on its head in my opinion. It was about evens up until that stage, with India looking for 230-240. No doubt he was OUT, only for the 3rd umpire to think otherwise (only shastri agreed with the umpire by the way). Anyone know who the 3rd umpire was?
Overall, not a great spectacle for the neutral. But you have to give credit to the Indian spinners and India for going about their business in a professional manner.

Pointless odi series in my opinion.These kind of series only serves to strenghten BCCI and/or its bosses financially.

Reason for 50% attendance in a cricket mad country like India is simply there is too much cricket.2 sides have just concluded the ODI and test series that last nearly 4 months and in the midst of all this , the Indians were bombarded with Champions League as well.IMO, English and Indian players will be exhaused of seeing the same faces for the last 4 months.Heavy dose wil only exacerbate the situation.

afridi what r u on about. This is the same pitch we will see when pakistan play other teams in the next couple of months. Maybe even flatter than what we say today, and u will be the first one to comment that england players struggle in slow pitches. I mean flat tracks should be the easiest to chase from what u say. Its meant to be the easiest if u r a champion on green pitch?

Please do your research before blantly blaming anything Indian. The reason the match broadcast was delyed was because there were disagreements between Parsar Bharti and Neo Sports.
Neo sports is required to pay money to Parsar Bhati to allow broadcast of event in India outside of India, there paid there due at the last possible moment and hence the license was delayed.
The sky commentary issue is also the same. They need a license to broadcast and didn't have one. SIMPLE?
