Yeah defo not disappointed at this ... good signing, an improvement yes.

Sets a good trend... as long as it is a trend... if this is our only decent signing I'm not sure its that good... think other positions need to be prioritised first.

but yeah...... happy... enough

I suspect given other clubs supposed interest, that he'd wanted to know what the clubs plans were in terms of other signings, before he committed to joining us. I'm sure the other Welsh lads have influenced him - but he'll have wanted to know he's not joining a nailed on relegation fight ..... (or less chance of it!)

Shea Charles would be a reasonable signing certainly but wasn't playing every week for Southampton, we have more than enough cover in central midfield.

He played most of the time when fit last season. He started every big game. They had three good CMs, but when fit Charles was the one most trusted.

He isn't.

Not as important as Wilson, line-up wise.
But, he'd still be a good signing in addition to Wilson.
