I agree that Obertan has been quite frustrating so far, but he's got lots of pace and seems to have a few tricks up his sleeve. To me, this is the kind of player that will thrive under alan pardew, and hopefully he can pick a few things off jonas who has come into great form recently. He's only 22 and jonas is 29 i think. Obertan is the youngest player who starts for us so he is bound to be lacking experience and a bit part of wing play is the final ball, which he needs to work on. But Obertan WILL get better so be patient with him. I admit he should be benched for marveaux for now though!

Ranger dont think so, how many chances does that lad want. When he has come on as sub he's missed chances and I alway's thought one goal and he would be up and running but he cant force his way in first team.
Mareaux might get a start against Blackburn tomorrow night but I would like him to start against Stoke.
