Imran Or Kallis

For me i would pick Imran over kallis. Tough one to choose as both are world class players who deserve all the credit they get. However for me the thing that splits them was Imran's ability to change a game from no where and the sheer presence of the man when out on the field. I don't follow the Kallis isn't given the credit he deserves, i think all cricket fans give him a huge amount of respect, quality player, but for me, not the all rounder Imran was

Could I have Kallis batting and Imran bowling? No? OK then I pick Kallis

I think I will go with Kallis too. More dependable and solid performer out of the two.
I think someone like Kallis would be a great addition to stronger teams like S.A., England, India. He will be consistently above average. Those teams don't require anything outstanding from him.
Imran on the other hand would be a better choice for slightly weaker teams like W.I., Pakistan or New Zealand. He may not do it on daily basis, but having Imran gives them a better chance of winning.

I would say, having watched him for many years, that one of the great things about Imran was that he did do it on a daily basis. For me second only to Sobers in the all rounder stakes.

I'd go with Kallis. At the age of 58, I don't think Imran would be much use.

great bowlers are a shortage in this day and age, so if i was picking a team now, i would sacrifice the batting alittle bit to get a great bowler in.
