King Kauto returns

Since no one post on this board anymore i might aswell.

All i have to say is what a brilliant performance from everyone involved Paul Nicholls for what could already be the best training performance of the year,Ruby walsh for a brilliant ride keeping the pace honest and making it to suit him down to the ground,Of course we can't forget the king himself Kauto Star pure guts and determination to dig in and stay going even when Long run was bearing down and not just to hang but to do what hes famous for and jump beautifully and stretch the lead.
Pure and utter brilliance.

Totally agree. It was really emotional race as well. I am a bit disappointed that there are no tips on this board as I know the old bbc board had some wonderful tipsters. Hence I have started saturday challlenge if you are interested. In addition, i have bben doing some research into the old Walsh vs Mccoy debate , the most telling stat is on the grade one courses mccoy SR drops to 11% cheltenham, aintree etc Walsh remains at 23%. When you need a top class jockey in a top class race you need ruby. FACT

I will forever argue that AP McCoy is actually not that good of a jockey at all he is ok for certain types of horses like Denman where he has to drive hard and and basically throw the horse over the line whereas Ruby has poise and better race judgement. This has deabte has just given me for another article.
