Cummins to Taunton in April & May?

Seriously, what is he doing in April and May anyone?

....Somerset are missing two bowlers to that baseball competition in India for April & May, and we desperately need a quality overseas wicket taking quick to help prevent us having our annual abysmal start (2010, 2011).

Cummins has virtually no first class experience, is a raw talented GENUINE quick and might be leading Australia's attack in test cricket for years to come. He needs experience of foreign conditions and four day cricket in a suitable environment, all to help develop him into a world class act - not slap and tickle cricket, or pointless endless ODIs.

Somerset are first division playing against the likes of Warks at Edgbaston, Surrey at the Oval, Lancashire at Old Trafford (or somewhere else?), Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge etc. We've got a team crammed with talented young players to have a laugh with, good coaches, friendly atmosphere (or so they say), play high quality competitive cricket and some seriously experienced batsman to practice with (Tresco, Hildreth, Kies, Buttler etc). Plus experienced pace and swing bowlers and helpful early season pitches and overcast conditions to develop his skills. And we've got links with Langer - is he Aus batting coach now?

Its a perfect match, surely?

Alternatively he can chuck down 4 overs somewhere hot. (I dont know when the Sheffield Shield runs to - but have been to an SS match).

So what's he doing? if he's free get him on the phone Brian!!!!

And yes I would rather see Somerset win the County Championship for the first time if it meant helping Australia beat us in the ashes. (hmmmmm well maybe!)
