BRFC 1-2 BWFC NOT BOTTOM AT XMAS Thread!

Live Thread: http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewLiveArticle/67301

This is it. I can't remember a league match with such significance for Wanderers in many years. Will we be bottom at Christmas, or will our six fingered friends have that fate? Will it be yet another spineless and incompetent performance or will we see some pride in the white shirt (or black)?

At the time of writing, in WF's predictions thread, we have called it as follows:

Blackburn win: 14
The draw: 7
Wanderers win: 19

Team news:

BWFC: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Cahill, Knight, Alonso, M Davies, Reo-Coker, Muamba, Petrov, Klasnic, Ngog

Subs: Bogdan, Robinson, Eagles, Tuncay, K Davies, Boyata, Pratley

Blackburn: Robinson, Samba, Dunn, Formica, Pedersen, Nzonzi, Hoilett, Yakubu, Vukcevic, Hanley, Lowe

Blackburn Subs: Bunn, Petrovic, Rochina, Blackman, Goodwillie, Roberts, Henley

I have been shaking the whole second half.

Alonso, Petrov, Davies and Reo Coker where the stand out performances for me. Absoloutely fantastic. We shoul have been 3 or 4 goals ahead with the cross goal chances.. But god what a brilliant brilliant game!! OCSWA! COYWM!

Well done boys. Looks like Coyle won the "best of the worst" match-up.

I hope this goes on to inspire you - at least some good may come of it. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

I said early on it was our ref tonight - and not giving that Robbo challenge as a pen proved it! Thankfully

Newcastle next - we may get knocked back again, but at least we can smile on the 25th

Steinnson still went missing a few times in last ten minutes, which was very worrying. Petrov was superb, and Zat Knight was quality to. Bring on Newcastle, wish I had gone to the game now, although I did scream like a girl when Samba had that header in the last minute, so good job I stayed home and watched it on my own.

NRC and Mark Davies were excellent.

Great win for OC but what about those Rovers `fans` ? Made the Bolton fans at the semi look like the best in the world. They should be ashamed.
