I might have landed myself in hot water...

I betted someone in the pub lastnight that Lewis Hamilton will NOT move to Red Bull in the 2013 season, for £100.

My reasons are simple:
- Engine rule changes: Red Bulls supplier 'Infinite' as far as Im aware, have only just come into Formula One, they have concentrated 2 years early on the 2.8L V8 engine.. Can Red Bull offer Lewis a competitive car with Infinite's first attempted at the 1.6L twin turbo?
- Aero Rule changes: Nobody knows or can predict the pecking order with these rules set to come in, so nobody can afford to speculate with changing teams at the front of the grid, for example what would happen if Hamilton moved to Red Bull and McLaren had the car to beat under the new specs?

Personally I think if it still plays on Hamilton's mind by 2013, I think he would be advised to wait until 2015 until teams have settled into the new rules. By doing this, also waiting until the championships can be a bit more predictable before gambling his committed future to something he cant foresee.

So what do you think? By Christmas next year, will I be £100 up or £100 out of pocket?
