It seems the days when kids used to get bikes for Christmas are gone,I have noticed over the last few years now the steady decline in numbers.
It is with great sadness that I announce I have not seen one kid on a Christmas bike 2011. How very sad.
I remember going to the bike shop in town oh I can smell it now the tyres, the paint, the oil,the saddles anyway I set my sights on the Peugeot tour de France 12 speed (in orange) Anyway Christmas morning I got up and there it was, well I felt like a dog with two tails, me and that bike went everywhere together for days on end. Fresh air, freedom, fitness,The Lancashire hills and country side were mine, anyway I'm getting carried away.
Also every time I got on the bike my Dad would ALWAYS say "I were right about that saddle" to my Mother! it must have been an in house jokey thing, anyway I'm going on again.
So Christmas bikes post your sightings, please state where/when

I just finished reading lance Armstrong's biography its pretty good. An incredible journey through illness back to the top. Still not sure he did it all clean. Watching some of his YouTube clips when asked about the doping subject he never clearly answers the question. Fishy.
