He is OUT. I am personally delighted.
And it was 2 days ago......So, can the Sky commentators please SHUT UP about the pompous has-been.
Plus he will never be World Champ again. Ever.
Thank you and goodnight.
Taylor. The Power. Mr T. Whatever....

Plus, did he do an after match interview? The Sky boys kept sayinging "hopefully we'll get a word with Taylor soon". Did that ever happen? No.
He's normally on straight away telling us how rubbish his competetors are. How they must raise their game, how they can play better, how they need to "raise the bar" and start going to the gym and eating healthly!
Ssshhhhh, Taylor. Ha ha

He gave an interview and was very honest with his answers
He said he was struggling and that his eyesight is getting worse and he is finding it harder every tourney
One good thing is that the standard has really improced recently and players are scoring for fun

wow, how anyone can try to laugh at Phil Taylor is beyond me.
The man has won the title 15 times. 15 for crying out loud.
and something like 18 finals!!!
sure you can dislike him, for whatever reason, but,
He is a living legend. and your little 'ha ha's' at his loss
come across as very childish, and don't wash.
The man has nothing to prove to you, or anyone.
the mans 52 years old! 20 years of dominance.
and NOW you calling him a has-been. At 52!!
The man should have no right to be still up there, but thats the absolute class of the man.
I'll remember you, the day Taylor ever wins a major event again.
Think it'll be you who will be sufferring the Ha ha's from everybody else, Mr Miller.

Fair enough Rougemanny, I must have missed that. Fair play to Taylor for coming out and doing that.
StingerBell - are you his boyfriend?

I would have thought he/she is just someone who is respectful of Phil's achievements and grateful for the way in which he has almost single handedly raised the standard of darts to the brilliant level it is today.
As any right thinking person would be.

So lets get this right,
you spout your rubbish and bitterness towards Phil Taylor.
I then comment in disagreement.
and your reaction is to come out with your lifetimes best insult.
you think everyone's just gonna agree with your foolishness?
but insult away, just shows your lack of intelligence.
but hey, guess that's the way you were brought up...

It's nice to see him go out as it means that someone else will win it and it will be more exciting but to belittle him and call him pompous is ridiculous. He is one of the driving forces behind the commercialisation of Darts and dragging it up to what it is today from the abyss.

Stringer - it wasn't an insult, it was a genuine question.
Are you?
