Looking forward to welcoming you to the County Ground tomorrow, it's a big game for us and there should be a capacity crowd and a good FA Cup atmosphere. I can remember important games against you in Division 3 days, great credit to you for the way you have progressed since those days. Meanwhile we're currently in the basement but hopefully not for long.
We're expecting you to be more or less at full strength and with the obvious gulf in quality you'll be expected to win comfortably. We try to play the game properly and will play football given the opportunity.
I hope any of you who make the trip have a good day, similarly I hope we give a good account of ourselves.

Should be a great game then, hope its a cracker! Can see Wigan putting out quite a strong side despite there PL struggle, a good Cup run can really improve the moral

Not getting carried away with Wigans league position, they have recently picked up points against Liverpool and Chelsea but us being underdogs at home does seem strange as we have been very strong recently. There is the potential of the banana skin being out there but not so sure if Wigan will slip on it though.

Hmm, Wigan are an odd team, one week they can outplay Chelsea, the next they go and lose 4-1 to Sunderland, it all depends on which team turns up to be honest

Where does your soft spot for Wigan come from ? I've always liked Spurs and have two very good friends who are season ticket holders. Been saying for the last few seasons Tottenham should be in around the top four and now with Harry at the helm it is quite possible.

Not sure really, i just like Wigan as a Club, well run, try and play the right way despite not having the best players or a lot of money, and i always enjoy watching them

RRP - I really like the way Spurs are playing at the moment and I'd like to see you win the Premiership.
I've only been to White Hart Lane once, Boxing Day 1966 or thereabouts. You beat Sheffield Utd 1-0 with a splendid header from Alan Gilzean!

Winning the PL?! Wouldn't that be nice! Cant see it though, Man City have way too much fire power, and our squad is not nearly as good as everyone makes out, unless we bring in some reinforcements this window, things could go downhill

We have quite a few links with Spurs. Ossie Ardiles and Glenn Hoddle were great managers for us and Mickey Hazard a class act in midfield.
In contrast Dave Mackay was a disaster, sold Don Rogers and then jogged on to Derby!
