The Young Ones.

I'm excited....yes, excited, by all that's going on at Rovers. Fantastic proposals for a new ground and a manager who's got stuck in straight away...I'll even forgive the pink shirt/s he wears!
But there's no news on the appointment of a youth team coach/manager to succeed Patterson . At the end of the season most of the young professionals were released. Buckle is making loads of signings and he won't be signing them if he doesn't figure they'll be featuring on match day.
With a sole focus on getting out of L2 I hope we don't overlook the local young players who will be the future for clubs such as ours.

I expect Rovers version of Jerzei Balowski will sit the candidate down on the rickity chair and warn him if he takes the job, he might feel a bit of a pr*ck

This all goes back to the scrapping of our reserves playing competitively in the league. One of the reasons for our recent demise IMO. I`d like to see more emphasis on youth/reserve team football but to be fair getting the first team sorted is priority.
