Watched American Hustle last night.

Was alright.

3/5 maybe.

Always forget about this thread. Watched a bunch of 'new releases' lately:

The Revenant - really enjoyed it. Convinced Leo has put in better performances and this one wasn't necessarily Oscar worthy, but it was 'his time'.

Creed - I'm a sucker for a Rocky movie, and this was up there as one of the better ones for me.

Deadpool - Loved it loved it loved it. I was worried it might be a bit 'too knowing' ie a few too many winks at the audience, but I thought it worked great.

The Finest Hours - average. A sort of typical 'matinee' movie. Decent effects and well acted, but nothing particularly stand out.

And I watched Star Wars a bunch of times because it's brilliant....

In the interests of showing what effect having a bloody baby in the house has on my ability to stay awake passed 9pm I will say the followoing:

Revenant - seemed decent. Fell asleep about 1hr into it

Creed - Enjoyed it. Up until I fell asleep. Woke up at the end of the fight.

I went to early evening showings to SW to ensure I was awake all the way through.

Just need to find a 70 minute movie to watch tonight
