A very good morning for Pak with Eng 133-9. Can Monty survive? 5for for Raymond and more LBWs.

Viru I didn't crow about England beating India nor about becoming number one in the ICC rankings. I don't crow when they win nor go ballistic when they lose.
However the performance of India in OZ is worse than in England, at least Dravid was in form against us which he's not been against the Aussies.
Australia cannot be called resurgent on the basis of recent form, simply improved from what they were.
In truth presently no team is dominant and lots of results are going to go against the ICC rankings, which will make for some interesting watching for we fans.

'partnership breaker' is just another way of describing a bowler who doesn't bowl much and doesn't take many wickets.
I'de rather have Broad at 8 than Watson at 1. And bringing up Kallis is stupid. How many players like him have ever existed? He has 12000 runs and 250 wickets!!! That's freakish

A genuine allrounder like England had Flintoff in the past.

This is an admission from Hopey that OZ were at their lowest when defeated by England.....at last some common sense pre-vails and we agree on something......onya Hopey..

Would rather have Broad than Flintoff, as much as I loved him.

I may as well go and say hello to my pillow as it seems very quiet on here once again.....

When you have a wicketkeeper as good a batsman as prior an allrounder is less needed.
When Bresnan is fit I would like to see Prior move to six and 5 bowlers in games played in these conditions. A lower order of Bresnan, Broad and Swann is pretty good..

why the bloody hell would you want 5 bowlers in conditions like these when there has been only a handfull of overs bowled in nearly every innings to date excpt this 2nd innings.....
