Now i like to help all you cricket fans by obtaining some much needed knowledge on the game as judging by a lot of comments on here, its much needed. Being such a nice gent i'd like to introduce to you all to a fantastic film on bbc4 tonight, Fire in Babylon. Im hoping you will all give it a watch as its the best cricketing film in a very long time.
The film is based on the greatest cricket team ever, the West Indies side of the 1970's and 1980's, i dont want to give too much away but it goes through the start of, and up until the end of this genius of a team's era.
Now i hope all of you ill educated cricketing fans give this a watch, hopefully this will stop the 'Zia's the next big cricket star' comments and will show you all what it takes to be a great cricketer.

there is no sport in the world that can attach its country or its fans as much as cricket does. If west indies started producing some great criketers again you would be suprised to see how many west indian fans start watching criket. Its by far the best sport to watch and play.

Maksi, I preferred the Windies side myself, but they were both great sides.
Had "Fire In Babylon" for a while, but never had a chance to watch it. May watch it over the weekend.
