Nathan Brown

Huddersfield Giant Coach has been linked with the newly created vacancy at St. Helens, with the possibility of buying out the rest of his contract at Giants. Given the disruption caused to Huddersfields campaign two seasons ago when he announced his return to Australia I would not again wish to see it happen again by a mid season change of coach. Especially as we are doing quite well at the moment

Was being talked about as the next coach for next season before Simmons was sacked.
I can't see Ken Davey letting him go early unless the price is right.

May as well keep Simmons, chasing Brown is only going side-ways....

Have to agree Souths we have been complaining about his tactics at Huddersfield for years (wrestling and slowing the game down) why do we want to replicate that. We also complained when Potter came and changed the way we played and were thoroughly vindicated in our dislike of the way he set his teams out.

10 years ago the theme of the NRL was defence wins big games, the slower the player can play the ball the better the defensive line can get into position and slow things down....Simmons was coaching back then as a youngster and Brown unfortunately had his career cut short with a life-time disability if he chose the wrong path and coached in the same manner as his counterparts were.
