I think Bresnan is under bowled by Strauss, he's a partnership breaker.

Important wicket there, strange how one wicket seems to change the whole nature of a game.

indeed hope. could we win the game today?

DSB time is running out quite quickly, tea is very close and for SL runs and time are important. I'm sure we will get them out but when that will happen I'm not certain. I shall be trembling if we end up needing 100+ to win.

SL commentators still whinging about the Dilshan decision. They liked the Sangakkara decision though.

I did say both Dilshan and Sanga will score runs and they did.

I think Trott's skiddy bowling would be a better option than KP but I'm hoping he'll prove me wrong.

These two have been a pain in England's neck this series.

With SL scoring so slow it's playing exactly into England's hand as they will barely have a lead if they get that far when the new ball is due.

24 over to the ball kash. By that time they will be level with England's total, so we need a breakthrough before then.

This wicket is getting slower every day, tough for the seamers to get much out of it.

Patel has started well after tea.

With no slip in the batsman knows Bresnan will be bowling straight. Too predictable.

Not a great over from Swann. I get the idea that he's bowling more short deliveries this year than normal.
