I think it's a three horse race with us, Pool and the Tatoes.

I've discounted Arsenal simply because they never win the title these days even in seasons when they really should have and the three teams above them are all playing better.

Same applies for Utd and they're too far behind now. They'd need four teams to slip up badly.

$hitty will struggle to get top four at this rate.

Cant wait for Europe to start again, that will effect everyone bar us and Liverpool, we just need to stay ahead until then.

I think both Man U and Tottenham have a good chance of winning the Europa, it will be interesting to see how they play it.

Can they afford to play their strongest team in both Comps?

Tottenham have history this season of prioritising the PL, if they drop behind any more before MId Mar/Apr it might make sense for them to prioritise the cup

WW u think city and utd are out of it now? I don't see them catching up 10 points the way they are playing(city) and even if they do, I don't see us, spurs and arsenal losing loads together

I think United have more of a chance than City, but both are out of it.

I can only see Liverpool/Spurs as catching us. They are the best two teams in the pack below us.

If we solve the Costa issue this week in our favour then we are looking very good.

I estimate we need 36 more points from our last 17 games.

With costa on board and no other injuries/dramas we shd do that

Agree, Spurs are going to batter them even at the Etihad and I think people will start taking them very seriously as title contenders.

City will come in devoid of confidence, not chomping at the bit. Pep won't change anything either, he doesn't seem to know how.

I think City are well past the wounded animal stage, Ii think they are broken just as we were last season

Spurs should beat them, although Vertonghen being out might weaken there ability to play 3-4-3

Spurs are very similar to us now. If you compare

They have Rose/Walker versus Moses/Alonso

They have Ericksen. Ali/Kane versus Hazard/Pedro/Costa

They have Wanyayma/Dembele versus Kante/Matic

They have Alderwerield/Dier/Vertonghen versus Luiz/Cahill/Azpi

and Lloris versus Courtois

I noticed Leicester went 3-4-3 against us at the weekend.

It seems that most teams are trying to match up to us when we play.

Long may that continue as not many teams can match us (spurs being the best example)

Although I wounder if Poch would still be playing 4 at the back if we hadnt moved to 3 and showed whatwas possible?
