Why does one have to mention colour when addressing a black person when they don't do it when addressing a white person?

I went to a multicultural school and there are plenty of white references I have received. Not that I get offended by it but it is there

Also on a side note I find there are far more black/mixed people "racist" against black people than white people are to black people, or maybe they're just more open about it

One thing that does bug me is when a black person is well mannered or very well educated they get labelled as 'being white'. I think that's extrememly unfair on black people
