We should win these matches regardless of their relegation status. We should be fighting as hard or harder than someone trying avoid relegation to win the title for ourselves.

Arsene Wenger: “It happened once in 20 years, mathematically it has to. Don’t compare us to Spurs, compare us to where we want to be."

You are right Arsene, I compare you lot to Torquay Utd

Boro, Watford and Sunderland should be wins or there's something wrong. We had our slip, complacency shouldn't be an issue now.

Also I think Utd will take points of spurs. Credit to spurs for not throwing in the towel today after our win. Although I think arsenal being awful had a lot to play there.

I'm less confident of Utd getting points from Spurs seeing as they're running out of players and may prioritise the EL.

Forgot about EL. You might be right

Yeah, Utd with lots of injuries.

From here though we really should win all our games. And we really should win 3 at the very least.

now we've got Everton out of the way, and very comfortably at that, I'm less concerned with hoping other teams take points from Spurs. Would be nice though obviously.

Just got back from the game. i don't know what you guys thought of the match, but i found it a strange affair until we scored.

I fully expected Everton to come out of the traps hard and fast, but they were really passive by their normal standards. So much so that I was really angry at Chelsea for letting them of the hook in that first half. It looked like both teams were happy for a draw, the tempo was very slow. That did disappoint me about Chelsea, but obviously Pedro's wonder goal changed everything.

Overall a better weekend for us than Spurs, but we still have plenty of work to do. Players celebrating with away fans after the game was good, but last time they celebrated like that was away at Stoke......hope that is not an omen.

ps....I know Hazard was man marked today, but why does he not take his marker around the pitch?

Do you think it is because Conte wants him playing close to Costa?

Boro will likely be a scrap but we have won pretty much every scrappy game we have played this season.

If we have a 4 point lead going into the WBA, I think we will win it as I'm not sure Pulis will bother to try.

Gazza...Boro have to win agst us and I expect them to give it a real go, which shd suit us? Fab has to start this one.

Any news on Luiz? Really don't want him missing for the run in.

He was a slightly better today than against Herrera.

Average touch map showed Gueye was as deep as the Everton CBs. Meant we were really only contesting the midfield with Barkley and Davies.

I reckon Hazard himself doesn't really consider the tactical implications of just dragging his marker way out of position.

How Conte instructs him I'm not sure. Perhaps just believes he has enough individual ability to get away from his marker.

“I didn't speak with the doctor about his injury but I don't think it is a serious injury. I hope in the next game that David Luiz is available to play. Also now in this part of the season it is important sometimes to try to play if you are not 100 percent. He is showing us great commitment in this season. Don't forget his injury in the knee after the game against City.”

Don't mind if Luiz is injured, give him the rest of the season off, Ake will do a fine job
