From Pochettino autobiography....
In our first season in charge, we took the step not to have the team spend the night at a hotel all together before the League Cup final against Jose Mourinho's Chelsea because we felt doing so wouldn't help them.
It was best that people just came to play the game.
The day after we lost that match, one of our own players sang the Jose Mourinho chant to Jesus's face.
That is what we had to contend with.

Certain big names had got too comfortable — for example, one player who had been at the club for many years no longer came in for training on Mondays — but we gave them the chance to make mistakes and rethink things.

Alright you wonderful people, let me hear your thoughts on clarification on this
Working at my current job for 9 months (put my notice in the other day to start a new job) , this job basically 60/70 hours a week, day shift on top of a night shift at least once a week (say 7am - 5pm / 7pm - 4am) broken promises as far as promotions and work load going down, cr@p management..., but, job for life, would never go out of business. Taking home about 2200 a month (Give or take on overtime)
New job, 8am-5pm, sometimes earlier finish, work overtime when you want to, no weekend work unless overtime, company van, 11 pound an hour to start rising to 15 an hour after 3 months, more work/life balance, but, more or less a brand new company (2 years old) profits gone up both years, but obviously not fully established...so the work is there, but you don't know what that may be like in 2/3/4 years.
I've already made the decision to go that job, but would you have all done the same?
