Arteta will do well as Arsenal manager

I'm well excited tbh. Not felt like this in ages

Was just speaking to Rube's brother about his call up and they're all buzzing, so pleased for him.

He was injured for a while this season as well, didn't think he would've made it.

hmmm big decision taking him over wilshere and shelvy. Wilshere has played more than RLC this year, mad.

Wilshere hasn't been great though has he? Rube has shone at Palace.

Hazard - 6.5/10 this season

Was very good during the first half of the season. But kind of disappeared during the 2nd half. Also him playing as a 2nd striker but yet not scoring more goals then last season is disappointing.

Vitesse Arnhem have informed Chelsea they want to take Mason Mount on-loan again next season.

Ajax and PSV Eindhoven have expressed interest in buying Mount outright in recent days, but Vitesse hope to persuade Chelsea to give them the midfielder for another 12 months.

For his part, Mount says nothing has been decided and is unlikely to be until later in the summer.

He told FOX Sports: "I do not know about it next season, because I'm not out yet. I'll see what's going to happen, I really do not know anything, so I have little to say, I have to talk to my family and Chelsea first, I'll go back and then I'll see what next season has to offer me."

Mount is currently with Vitesse as they face FC Utrecht in their Europa League qualifying playoff.

Standby list isn't bad either

Loftus Cheek is probably the only surprising one on the list for me. Although I don't like seeing Welbeck on there, I don't know who would replace him.

Why is Livermore on the backup list ahead of Shelvey and Wilshire?

Exactly what I was thinking. Southgate has a bit of a weird man crush on Livermore.

He obviously wants a bunch of cloggers in midfield. Which probably isn't a bad thing if he's going 3 at the back.

Livermore had a better game than Shelvey did when they both faced up against eachother a few weeks back in WBA's 1-0 win.

Livermore also has more international experience. He also is less temperamental which is what Southgate likes and has emphasised in press conferences. He is also more reliable - always does a good shift defensively and a very average shift going forward.

Doubt that Ruben gets much playing time in Russia, if any at all. But good to see him in the squad. Definitely ups his chances of coming back to us after the WC and establishing himself in preseason etc.

Livermore very average going forward, sounds like perfect England material then.
