Just thinking if petrescu is still the best RB i've seen at the club, probably only ivanovic (unless i'm forgetting somone) rivals him in my era.

Chopper aside, I would have to agree with that Nick!

So tomorrow's going to be fun. We're going to turn up lose 2-0 to Utd producing a classic Jose final of just killing off the game as a spectacle and clinically winning and then we're going to go home.

Jose on @ChelseaFC fans: “Since my 1st day in 2004 until last day when I was sacked a couple of years ago, they were with me unconditionally. They supported me even on the days I was sacked. I don’t have negative words about Chelsea supporters. Not one word.”

Good appointment for West Ham. Wonder if we've missed a trick not bringing him in ?
Based on the lack of genuinely available managerial candidates out there right now

Are we getting Enrique then ? Don't understand that appointment if the spending on players is going to continue to get cut back.
A few years ago you could sort of understand it if Enrique is given a huge budget to bring in new players and completely change the squad. But he seems like a really odd fit for the way we're going.
For the way in which we need to be looking at we need a manager who isn't afraid to play academy players etc. That is something that has been holding us back over a few seasons now, maybe not in terms of trophies etc, but when we've needed a change and had a player out on loan who could of made a difference etc.
Need a manager as well who can adapt if things change, think we've found with Conte that he can't always look to change it even when everyone can see it's not working. Obviously though he will say he hasn't got the players he wanted.
In terms of transfers etc we will still spend, and I don't think it's to unreasonable for any manager to be told you can have x amount of players brought in but you have to look at the youth set up etc as well.
Belgian reporter Kristof Terreur, who believes Courtois is waiting to see if his potential suitors firm up their interest before committing his future.
Terreur told Sky Sports: “There are three options and I don't see him signing a new deal with Chelsea unless he doesn't get his transfer, then he might consider signing a new deal.
“There's a big offer on the table, it's still on the table but I think he's seeing if clubs come in for him. Does he sign a contract, yes or no? At the moment I think it's a no."
