Why are City so normal in the CL? They come off as just another side, whereas in the PL they seem almost unstoppable

Because bar maybe Everton every team outside the top 5 are crap.

That and City are desperate for CL so there's more physiological tactics in play.

Liverpool look a lot more comfortable in the CL though and they haven’t been nearly as dominant as City in the league since the start of last season.

Just strange they don’t seem able to transfer the standards over

Liverpool this season look wack in the CL, lost all three away games and only narrowly beat a PSG side who rocked up at Anfield and didn't bother running.

Liverpool last season were more of a surprise package, with the outlay there's the expectations on them like with City and are now looking like they are struggling a bit too.

On the side not of City needing thst first thing i remember when it was like that for us, imagine all the pain and regret we would feel now if Munich didn't happen

we kind of took over that mantle up until the last couple of years from them with the decade of struggling they had, but always been us/pool this century with the odd good united run, united should of done a lot better to be fair massive underachievers

They're always a diff breed in knock out games tho DD they go up levels, just ingrained in them, 2 european finals the last 2 years aint it? Wouldn't bet against them making it again this year considering how weak the CL is

CL is so open this year. PSG + City will never get an easier year to finally do it

Whenever there's been expectation on them (in the modern era) they haven't looked great, they have been better as underdogs

They got to two finals against the odds then when in 2009 they were one of the if not the favorites Hiddink walsed into Anfield and handed Rafa his arris on a plate!!

63 million for Hazard......I hope we tell Real where to stick that money.

Slightly amazed at last night's Madrid result...even though it was academic....very embarrassing really
