only won 3 GS though
Stan Wawrinka has won the same
Ake does make sense to come back if Luiz leaves and we want competition/back up for Christensen at LCB role. However he is small..will Sarri stand for that and I wonder whether he would accept a squad role especially after the Conte fiasco.

Did you ever expect a brit to even win one....I didn't. ..let alone two Olympic golds
try and sell morata to Farzalona lads
give them a gift they'll enjoy
And in the era of three of the best ever in Djok fed and Nadal
djokovic is gonna overtake nadal in GS titles imo
wouldnt be that surprised if he catches up to Federer

Yup probably the most difficult and competitive era in the history of men's tennis. I'm not sure Murray would have won much else in terms of grand slams if he didn't retire. Especially with the emergence of players like Zverev now.

Sampras was only in this early 30s when he retired too
not through injury , just choice
his last even match in fact was winning the US Open against his great rival agassi in the final
what a way to bow out

I think he is more likely to come if Christensen goes tbh
Btw, I am seeing a lot of people on twitter etc starting to turn on Sarri
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I find this weird tbh. I can understand why people are unhappy with the direction of the club but to pin all that on a manager who by all accounts has been alright if not perfect since he came in is very harsh. Fans need to vent their frustrations on the board and the way the club is being run. Otherwise nothing will change.
As i said the other day to win one grand slam in the era of fed djok nadal is good enough but to win 3 and 2 olympic golds back to back is very impressive. Had a great career, and definitely britains 2nd best player of all time. (After freddy p)

Been away so just watched our game on MOTD
two nice goals, don't think Kepa could do a lot about their header...maybe the defending mightve been sharper
Luiz was very good (again)...I'd still like to see him in midfield
Unimpressed with Kova and jorg who are still not stamping any authority on a game v fairly average opponents
And WHY...was CHO not involved
So Milan might be buying Piatek - the player we could and maybe even should be signing and this is supposedly good news for us:

Ok...my bad...never saw him
That hardly constitutes involved though
I would say being trusted to come on and protect the lead is being involved, especially when you're brought on over a world cup winner.
