Perhaps but I think I would rather be a hypocrite who is sometimes right than a consistent moral actor who is always wrong.

I think also that free range and less cruel methods of farming are superior to battery farms.

Though I think the only one who could get him to stay is Sarri by playing him as a proper starter for the rest of the season. I don't think any amount of "bribe" money will do much to convince him to sit on our bench or get farmed out on loan.

meh we're paying drinkwater 120k a week so minor really, the guy who would replace cho would probably be on 100k+ a week and not be as good

sarri just needs to start playing him, he's already so much better than willian and he's on pedro's level.

If he doesn't want to be here then fck him.

I think Drinkwater is ok, not good enough for us but ok. He could have been used in rotation and given players some rest. That would have put him in the shop window too.

Alternatively Sarri could have played a player (Ampadu) that has a (fair) grasp of playing in a deep-lying midfield role/position, conducive to the system, and put into action the remarks and acknowledgement of youth being able to adapt to his methods quicker, that works.
Instead of sidelining capable players, being short-termist (prioritising experience players that don't serve a purpose) and making flimsy excuses why they shouldn't play.

Nothing will ever make it ok that Ampadu (and Hudson-Odoi for that matter) has been deprived of meaningful minutes in a second-rate European reserve competition and cup matches.

When you're playing such an intense style of play from training to match, squad management has to be better.
No capable player should be sidelined...
There are capable players being sidelined or limited for no viable reason.
