Probably not, but we'd stagnated under him. Maybe dropping down a division is what the club needs to regroup and come back stronger. Here's hoping anyway.

I used to go with my Dad, he was a season ticket holder at Ipswich.
First game I went to was 1970 and Town beat Liverpool 1 0
I've never actually set foot in the place. My old man lived close to the Bridge when he first went to England, and supported Chelsea as a result.
My parents then moved to North London, so my older brothers all supported Arsenal. I was the outlier. I took to them mid 70s, when I was about 6 because I thought Ipswich and Trevor Whymark were cool names.
