Utd and Spurs have that quality whereby you can count on them getting a result in the end, despite looking far from convincing for much of the game.

So annoying that you always expect them to get a late goal.

We simply don't have that. If we're not playing well, we get punished.

I would say we didn't play well for a lot of autumn but we're still getting the results.

It caught up with us in the end and it will Spurs especially.

I'm not counting the early games of the season.

The entire club and league has a very different feeling now compared to back then.

I'm saying that since everything went rapidly downhill, that's been the case.

What I mean is like in general teams who constantly outperform their XG rate usually have a massive dip sooner or later, look at us in 2015 as the prime example.

It's a myth winning ugly constantly is a good sign, it's a sign that things will be doing down the shetter in the not too distant future.

On another note Liverpool fans must be panicking like feck right about now.

These 2 City games must have demoralised them big time, there's nothing worse in title races than when your nearest rivals come so close but yet so far from dropping points

We're not playing purely for the result though. We have to try and win playing Sarriball. It has and will limit us in the short-term, but the benefits are there to see with City and Liverpool's dominance if we stick with it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You sure about that? At the start of the season, we were told that it was a learning curve and that things would be better in the long run as we adapt to Sarriball.

But instead, it's everyone else that's adapted to his style. And we've become significantly worse. It's hard to say with confidence that things will improve, when it's been the opposite so far.

From what I am led to believe by others who know miles more about how Napoli played than I do, we are some distance away from playing sari's type of football.

all I can say with certainty is that we lack the quality in the starting line up and the squad to do any better than a maximum of 4th place....................whatever style we play

All our games in March and April are either televised on Sky or BT

I might be wrong, but I think SKY have set a precedent for moving a fixture..............when circumstances dictate. Has to be considered extreme though

Anyone know when we are supposed to play Brighton in the rearranged game?

Due to the Europa League mid week games (which competition rules state cant be used for domestic games instead even if we lose and are no longer in it), there are only two midweeks free between now and the last week of the season.

And they are both out of action because Sky have stupidly put us on MNF on both those weeks.
