I'm saying that since everything went rapidly downhill, that's been the case.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

We can rectify this, if we beat Fulham and solidify our performances in the last week with a win in the league I think we are more or less back in contention for the top four again.

We should fackin smash Fulham

We could end up playing them in June. Imagine needing a win when the season is over for top 4

Could be sandwiched between Watford and Leicester

That's the second leg of the Europa League semi final. Even if we arent in it I thought domestic leagues werent allowed to schedule games during European competition matchweeks?

I don't think that's a problem unless rules have changed.

I vaguely remember watching THAT Barca Vs PSG game while constantly checking on a City score.

I would rather we play Brighton sooner than later. Don't like games in hand at the end of the season

United's last two games are Huddersfield and Cardiff.

Spurs fans thinking the officials robbed them mystifies me, every big decision went their way aside from the penalty.

Kane was clearly offside in the first penalty incident.
Rose could have got a red for studding Leno but got a yellow.
The contact on Aubameyang was minimal and the penalty debatable, but the referee then permitted Vertonghen to encroach which gave him the chance to clear off the line.
Torreira was correctly sent off.

Deluded people.

That's just how they are. Despicable lot.

Aubameyang you absolute fool, could’ve caused so much Spurs rage

Interesting, Arsenal could’ve had a retake

The thing that makes me still have faith in Sarri is that he has shown he can at times set the team up to beat/or at least compete with our biggest rivals. Admittedly some awful results too in that category but the examples are still there in his favour.

We pretty much went toe to toe with City and Liverpool earlier in the season and came out on top. With the right signings and a bit of time I don’t see why we can’t make that level of play fairly consistent. Then on the occasions it doesn’t quite work we will have built in the flexibility to adjust.

I think the big game compromise has existed all season.

The big change from Mourinho and Conte is we try to play out from pressing even when boxed in (compared to Conte were we only did it when not pressed or Jose when we barely did atall) and try to control the game with the ball compared to the nullify game those two played.

The mixed results are to be expected given such a change, some games it's worked well, Liverpool for example we coped with a high energy pressing system that has killed even City and we have outplayed Spurs three times out of four but when its gone wrong it's gone very wrong, basically all our league away games so far.

Something to build on for sure.
