Don't think we should blame Sarri for not being able to score, we create chances but we can't put nothing away.

I do worry with what he says at half time because we come out as a shocking side. All them notes he makes seems to have little impact

Nah, we have barely created anything dude. It's certainly not the case we are missing chances. Seriously most games are best chances are blocked shots from 20 yards, I certainly can't remember the last time we have had a bad result but we missed a clear cut chance, we are in general creating nada.

We did at Everton - should have been 3 or 4 up in the first half!

We usually start well and don’t finish chances, the players get nervous because they haven’t scored so retreat into their shell a bit and we have no threat then we end up getting sucker punched and at that point they’re totally deflated

Everton was our first truly bad result in about a month to be fair. The Wolves draw was disappointing but Wolves are strong defensively and a pretty consistently strong team overall. Everton are pretty inconsistent so we should have been able to put them away.

I'm hoping we will improve though. I think at least RLC will be starting more and he offers more urgency in the middle.

The problem though is Pedro and William should be squad players and not starters

Most people aren't really aware that Roman has sewn up his wallet.

We’ve spent a lot but it hasn’t been without selling players to make up for it, so the needle doesn’t move much in terms of our squad depth/quality. Then when you factor in the number of bad signings we’ve made you see why we’ve been on such a continuous slide

We have the potential to be back among the elite if we get our structure above the manager right and start spending wisely. We still have a lot of potential commercially and of course can improve our stadium.

We haven’t played all our cards yet. Rival fan talk of us being a spent force at the top level is definitely premature.

There is only so much money they can spend at the end of the day. And they won’t have Pep forever.

That's it - we need a plan and a connection between the board and manager. As there is nothing worse than hearing our manager saying he has no idea who is being bought

Liverpool have done pretty well to be competitive with them and one of the strongest sides in Europe, and they’re no stronger financially than us. Overall intelligent spending plus one year of big spending and bringing in their best youth has got them where they are.

That and having a clear vision shared by the manager and board with the patience to carry it out

Kepa, Bulka
Rudiger, Christensen, Luiz, Ampadu
James, Telles, Azpi, Emerson
Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, RLC, Aouar
Pepe, CHO, Pulisic, Pedro/Willian
Jovic, Abraham

Maybe extend Giroud or Higuain’s loan for a bit of experience up front.

I like Aouar.

The strange magic Pepe has over people mystifies me a little, but I have only seen him play twice and being crap in both games is hardly a big enough sample to judge I suppose.

The exposure football gets world wide these days tends to give you good knowledge to access players even one's you have never seen play.

For example i didn't once see Hazard play before we got him but i knew his ability, style and potential chapter and verse.

I would like to watch more of Pepe but I do think he would be a good signing from what I have seen and read.

The fact that he’s 2nd to Mbappé in the Ligue 1 charts for combined goals and assists gives me even more confidence. That’s pretty outstanding for a winger not playing for PSG.
