I know Sidey but there were another 10 players giving it away constantly for the 40 minutes before, yet CHO who was on for 5 minutes had a shocker!

We're not knocking his ability or even his place in the starting line-up Brummie, but once again it just shows you that he is still a kid, we need to show patience and so does he.

I know and a totally acknowledge that Sidey and I agree he had no impact in his 5 minute cameo, it's just that I can't understand why one player gets criticised when he's not even had time to get warm!

He's 18 and we'll see many more of those type performances, it's part an parcel of bringing through kids.

We're not criticising him because he had no impact, that would have been fine. It's the fact that he came on and lost possession. The least you'd expect from a substitution in that situation is to keep the ball, not give it away cheaply. We know the rest of the team were guilty of it throughout the second-half, we're not saying that CHO's appearance was worse, but again, bringing on a player, any player, should help the team out in some way, especially when we were struggling to perform the basics.

This is what I find so bizarre, we watch a team who are totally culpable of giving away possession for 45 minutes, yet expect a player, any player, to come in cold, let alone an 18 year old attacking player and expect he's going to hold the ball up like Franz Beckenbaur.

If the remit was to hold on to the ball why not bring on a Michael Ballack type player - except we don't have one!

That's why i am still skeptical of him being undisputed starter right now even with Pedro and Willy his competition.

If/when he hits a rut the last thing he will need is to go out on the pitch every 4 days, the more bad games he does in a row the more self doubt creeps in and with it the psychological stress (look at what happened to Christensen post Barca).

At 18 he's still developing not just as a player but a person too. Yes we get the odd freak like Messi, Pele or Mbappe who hit the top level immediately but in general lads that age need careful management.
