it's annoying though because he's better than giroud higuain morata and bat$hitu and there's no decent strikers we can realistically get

like why can't we just put faith in a young striker for us

in tammy's 1 season at swansea he still managed the same amount of PL goals as giroud has for us in 2 seasons, same as higuain has too and the same as batshuayi has managed too

Difference is Tammy is a star at Villa, so he'll be treated like the main man.

Whereas at Swansea the onus was on him to prove himself to management.

giroud - 5 PL goals the last 2 seasons combined

So gametime wouldn't be an issue.

10 league goals should be the aim. If he doesn't do better than the Swansea stint, we should probably sell him.

He's only 21 tho CSTP still has about 4 years until he even hits top form, and he never really got a consistent run for swansea, went away again has improved again and managed another just under 30 goal run in the championship

He's no worse than michy, gonzalo, alvaro and olivier, and there's no real quality striker we can get, so i don't get why we don't just play him

The point is if he doesn't do well in the PL on loan next season, what's the next step? We wouldn't be impressed enough to want him back in the squad, but how many more loans would he need before enough is enough?

For his sake, he might want to move permanently.

Or at least maybe try his luck in a foreign league like Germany

I dunno, say what you like (a lot of time justified) about our squad, but they almost always show up when a trophy's on the line, the only real exception was the Cup final 2017 but we were probably still smashed from the title celebrations.

I swear they kept a clean sheet against us at the Emirates. Our attack is toothless. There's only Hazard who's capable but he'll be dreaming of Madrid

They'll win because they'll want it more.
